Nekton®-S is formulated especially for bird owners, breeders and zoological gardens to supply the essential nutrients needed for optimum bird health and productivity. Nekton®-S contains 18 amino acids, 13 vitamins including vitamin E and all the essential minerals and trace elements birds need to resist infection and disease, help them get through the pressures of molting or being re-caged and to improve their productivity especially during breeding. This powdered formula is easy-to-use. Simply mix with water. For use in all caged birds.
Being in a powder form and soluble in cold water, Nekton®-S can be added to the bird's drinking water. Never make up more than the normal daily ration of water and use fresh water daily.
Use the included 1g spoon and dissolve in ½ pint water (¼ liter). If you have only one bird to feed, pierce a small hole in the aluminum foil seal and shake a little into the drinking water or over the egg food.
In stress situations (re-caging, being sold or bought, illness) the dose of Nekton-S can be doubled without hesitation.
Note: This supplement has a higher content of Vitamin D and trace elements than what is in complete food. Because of this it may only be added to 5% of a bird's daily ration.
