Remove the 2 wing nuts and washers from the back of the Snuggle-up Bird Warmer. Find the perfect spot in the cage directly above the end of your bird's favorite perch. Feed the plastic wrapped, chew resistant cord through the bars of the cage. Place the back of the Snuggle-up Bird Warmer against the inside of the cage in desired position ensuring the threaded bolt ends protrude to the outside of the cage. Place the washers over the bolt ends and screw on wing nuts snugly. Plug your AC adapter into the wall, then plug adapter cord in to the end of the plastic wrapped Snuggle-up Bird Warmer cord.
Care instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth, soap and water.
There is not a hard plastic conduit covering the cord. If you are concerned about your birds biting through the electric cord while outside the cage, we recommend running it through PVC pipe for added protection.
