Love Your Bird: Salem the Sports Fanatic

Salem is the smartest, most loving bird (African Grey). His verbal skills are absolutely amazing. He is a die hard Mets fan and loves to watch the games and he cheers them on with a hearty "Let's Go Mets!" Jose Reyes is his favorite player and he sings his at bat song when he sees him.

We recently bought him Pure Fun™ and it's now his favorite treat. When he wants it he runs over to the bag and pokes it while yelling "Want Cookie!" He then sticks his head in the bag so he pick out what he wants.

He also is a very kissy bird, always asking for and receiving kisses. He is my child and I can't imagine life without him!
