Penny's 2017 Holiday Wish List
Hello Peeps!
This morning I hopped on my parront's laptop (literally) and started checking my email. I saw I had a message from the big jolly man up north... you know who I'm talking about? Yep, Santa! I was thrilled when he told me that I am currently on the nice list this year! Woohoo!!
That got me thinking, I need to put together my Christmas wish list to help Santa and his elves fill up my stocking with all the best goodies. So here is what I will be asking Santa for this year!
- Where I live, it's cold in the winter and sometimes I get the urge to take a trip somewhere warm! Some may call me a snowbird, but I call myself a smart bird. When it comes to any sort of traveling I like to travel in style! That's why I am asking Santa for a Perch N Go. The clear view lets me see exactly where I'm going so I can travel stress-free.
- Now you may not know this, but I love music. Rock n' roll, classical, country… I love it all! So when I heard about Avian Pet Tunes I thought to myself, "Penny, you NEED this!" This little music speaker comes preloaded with music that is scientifically proven to calm birds. Sounds good to me! (Get it, "sounds good.")
- Of course, I will also be asking Santa for almonds. Lots and LOTS of almonds. That's a no brainer!
- I'm a bird that likes to swing, bounce and climb so when I came across the Bungee Boing Perch I thought to myself this looks like soooooooooo much fun, I want one of these! You know how we birds sometimes… okay all the time, LOVE to make lots of noise? Well, this fun perch even comes with a bell on the bottom! #iloveringingbells. It's also great for birds of all sizes so tell your friends.
- If Santa needs a smaller stocking stuffer idea, I'm going to recommend he get me the Cal-Sea-Yum Dollar. It's great for all us fantastic feathered creatures and is made of some of my favorite things to play with… cotton ropes, sea shells, calcium-enriched wafer and who doesn't love a metal bell? Who knows, I may even buy a few of these to give as gifts to my friends and for my colleague whose name I have for Secret Santa at work!
So there you go Santa. These five items are what I would love to find in my stocking this year and I'm guessing my feathered friends wouldn't mind these gifts either!
Also, wanted to let you know, if you know of someone who is thinking about getting an awesome pet bird for Christmas or maybe they just got one, suggest they check out the new My First Bird articles in the Discovery Center at GreatCompanions.com. There is information about food, cages, bird needs and the different types of birds if they can't decide which one to get! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a feather-filled 2018!
