Love Your Bird: Rio the African Grey Meets His Soul Mate

God truly brought him to me for a reason. One day I just looked up and said, "God it would be nice to have someone, other than my stuffed animals, to talk to and be able to cuddle at times!" Who knew He would listen? A friend of mine one day was talking about a bird she had that swore like a sailor! Then she messaged me, asking if I knew someone that would like an African Grey? I told her to give me a few weeks and I'll check. Actually, I was thinking of my granddaughters, but God had better plans!

Then two weeks later I get a message from her, "When can we bring him?" WOW, I wasn't ready for a bird, but I made room for him. He came home to his forever home!! We did have a rough start, but we made it through it ALL! Turns out he came with a background like mine, of abuse and neglect. After finding that out, I knew why God gave him to me! We both can help each other to heal!

He is truly a wonderful, amazing bird! We are truly Soul Mates! My bird protector! He has to approve everyone that visits, or you will be bit! I love him so much!
